Hurrah

Dry rot is only mushrooms on damp wallpaper. Just the roof to replace then; we might keep the downstairs loo after all :-)

And I've finally figured out what is going to go in Chapter 7, after two months of writing stuff and ripping it up (literally- lots of lined notebooks). Which is almost as much of a relief as the mushrooms. This is an awful lot of work for something inherently unpublishable, but I guess the alternative is just doing more sudoku.

Absolutely nothing on TV at the moment, except House. What have we done to deserve this? Son and I are reduced to watching old episodes of Yes Minister.

Comments:
If it's any consolation, I'm currently waiting for a man to come and look at the hole in my roof.

Not exactly consolation, as such, but shared pain.

Speaking of things on TV, did you catch the 30 minutes of I'm Sorry I haven't a Clue on BBC4 the other day? As I write this it'll still be on iPlayer.

(I am new to your blog) Why is your book unpublishable? And what are you writing about?

I happen to love House MD... and when there is nothing on TV, I watch full length episodes of various TV shows on the internet... here is the link: http://www.fanpop.com/channel/show/29

I hope you enjoy it!!!

Louise,

I came across your blog and wanted to say hello. My name is Iri Amirav and I am a co-founder at iMedix. iMedix is a website that helps hundreds of thousands of patients every month and we’ve recently decided to form a Support Group for Bipolar patients: http://www.imedix.com/Bipolar

I am looking for leaders who will be interested to start and manage this group with me and thought you might be a good person to speak with about finding patients in need. I would love to speak with you and tell you more about who we are and what we are trying to accomplish.

Please feel free to contact me by email. In addition, you can find me on the iMedix website under the nickname irus.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best,

Iri
